NEC PC-8801 review: An old gamers’ favorite

In this episode, Thomas shows a classic vintage PC from the Asian scene. The NEC PC-8801 was a highly successful early-80s computer system that was celebrated by gamers, especially, for its colorful graphics (for the time) as well as its impressive library of games, which included ports of the more popular Nintendo games. It came with a variety of keyboards; this one is the most well-known and desirable version, with blue Alps switches. With a great keyfeel and soundtrack, the PBT keycaps with dye-sublimed bilingual keycaps are a nice bonus.
