In this episode, Thomas goes to town on a space-saving keyboard that strongly disagrees with him. Using a very unconventional switch design based on a rubber band with a conductive strip on it, it has a terrible keyfeel that’s infamous in the keyboard community. That layout is…bizarre. It’s basically as 60% with the numpad and F keys across the top, and partly because of its absurd depth, it’s exceptionally tall. Taller still is the Enter key. No, seriously. Just watch the video.
WARNING: Thomas uses more exasperated foul language in this video than normal to deliver his damning verdict. If colorful yet crass language bothers you, maybe pass on this one. Definitely pass on the Datalux Space Saver (MEI T-15), regardless.
