Review: Focus FK-555 Is An Absolute Unit, With A History

In this review, Thomas looks at the Focus FK-555, an apparent forerunner of the famous Northgate OmniKey, an absolute unit of a keyboard with clicky Alps switches. Focus, a Taiwanese manufacturer, is most well-known for making funky and feature-laden–but often badly made keyboards–but the FK-555 is an exception to this rule. There is a great deal of history behind the keyboard as well, which is explored in this video.

With the looks of a Bigfoot, the build quality of an OmniKey, the layout of a FK-2001, and with blue Alps switches, this is quite the keyboard–and of course, it comes with a classic soundtrack!
